Declaration on the Use of Generative AI

The authors acknowledge the importance of transparency regarding the use of generative artificial intelligence (AI) and AI-assisted technologies during the preparation of scholarly manuscripts. Any use of such technologies should be disclosed at the time of manuscript submission. This declaration concerns the use of AI in the writing and editorial process and does not cover conventional applications of AI or computational tools for routine data processing or analysis:
- AI-based writing tools may be employed to support language editing, improve sentence structure, enhance readability, and assist in presenting the authors’ ideas more clearly.
- All AI-assisted outputs must remain subject to careful human evaluation. The authors are responsible for verifying the accuracy, relevance, originality, and appropriateness of any AI-assisted text before it is incorporated into the manuscript.
- The use of generative AI does not transfer authorship or intellectual responsibility to the technology. AI systems must therefore not be listed as authors or co-authors, and the human authors retain full responsibility for the manuscript and its published content.

Required Disclosure Statement
When generative AI or AI-assisted technologies have been used in preparing a manuscript, the authors should include a disclosure statement immediately before the References section. The following wording may be adapted according to the actual tool and purpose of use:
Section Title: Disclosure of Generative AI Use in Manuscript Preparation
“In developing this manuscript, the author(s) utilized [NAME OF TOOL/SERVICE] to assist with [SPECIFIC PURPOSE, e.g., language refinement, grammar checking, or improvement of readability]. All AI-assisted material was subsequently reviewed, verified, and revised by the author(s). The author(s) remain fully responsible for the accuracy, integrity, interpretation, and final content of the published manuscript.”

Confidentiality and Responsible Use by Reviewers and Editors
Reviewers and editors, in order to preserve the confidentiality, intellectual property, and unpublished content of the submitted manuscript, should not upload a manuscript, peer-review report or other content considered confidential to a publicly accessible generative AI platform (such as ChatGPT) or any equivalent AI platform without specific permission from the journal to do so in accordance with applicable policies.
